About Kristin

Hi, I’m Kristin!

Singer, Nurturer, Healer, Creative Mind, and Your Biggest Supporter. I help novice to pro singers discover their real voices and love their sound.

My Story

Hello, performance anxiety!

I grew up having a deep desire to be seen, heard, and valued, which manifested in people pleasing and performance anxiety. Despite all of the anxiety, I still showed up.

I’m proud of 18-year-old me showing up despite being terrified.

I was fortunate to have wonderful teachers and coaches as I got my degrees. Along the way, I realized the only permission I needed to move and emote was my own.

I gave myself permission to make big choices.

It was terrifying yet immediately gratifying. I began feeling as joyful singing in public as I did alone. Despite this, I secretly disliked my voice. I felt pressured to maintain consistency and excellence in performance. Thus, I dedicated considerable effort to mastering vocal consistency and stage presence. After finishing my master’s degree in opera performance, I moved to the New York Metropolitan area to pursue my dreams of singing professionally, and I did it. Then, I had an unnerving realization.

I was miserable.

I could not reconcile the disparity between performing and being of service to other people.

I felt my work and values were misaligned

I felt voice use had self-healing and transformative potential, and I wanted to explore the relationship between sound and the subtle body. I took the plunge, stepped off the performance path of what I thought I should be doing. I began to create a different way of using my voice.

I started singing for me, not for others.

I felt innately that the voice was a manifestation of our energetic landscape. Realigning my values and life purpose with my voice, over the next few years I became a Founder of YogaVoice® and earned my certification as a Reiki III practitioner, sound meditation instructor, and 200HR RYT. I’ve taught for over 15 years now.

I am absolutely certain that my life's purpose is to empower girls, women, and marginalized populations to discover their innate power through their voices.

Your voice serves as both your ally and your unique vibrational signature in this world. Utilize it for your utmost benefit.

Your voice matters, it is powerful, and you have a right to be heard.

I am dedicated to helping you sound authentically like yourself. If you seek comfort, joy, and confidence through expressing your voice, then I am here for you!
